01 · MARKET PREPARATION
Separate the two destination briefs
Name the exact country, state or province, city, postal code and final receiving point for each quotation. Do not treat the United States and Canada as one delivery or documentation destination.
02 · MARKET PREPARATION
Use measurements alongside size names
Supply garment measurements, grading and tolerance in the units your buyer will review. If both inches and centimeters are needed, identify the controlling chart instead of relying on S, M or L alone.
03 · MARKET PREPARATION
Give the supplier your channel requirements
State whether the goods are for a retailer, marketplace, distributor or direct-to-consumer operation. Provide buyer-approved label text, barcode files, price-ticket instructions and any distribution-center routing rules that apply to the order.
04 · MARKET PREPARATION
Quote costs and responsibilities explicitly
Ask for currency, named delivery point, quotation basis, included packing, sample charges and excluded costs to be written line by line. The importer should verify current customs, tax, labeling and product requirements for the exact destination.
